News: New Faces

Meet our new research fellow Christina Seeger.

Christina Seeger joined the IEE as a research fellow in March 2015. She holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Cologne. In addition to her job at the IEE, she works in the team Internationalization of the Faculty of Management and Economics at the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB). Her research interests are related to informal and formal risk management strategies in developing countries, with a special focus on informal risk sharing, social capital, and microinsurance. At the IEE, she will primarily be responsible to assist Professor Wilhelm Löwenstein with his teaching obligations at the Faculty of Management and Economics by giving tutorials for Bachelor's and Master's students in the field of Development Economics.
