PhD IDS: Christina Seeger takes over as coordinator of the PhD IDS programme from Raffael Beier

Dr. Raffael Baier left his position as PhD IDS coordinator for a Gateway Fellowship at the Centre for Urbanism and Built Environment Studies (CUBES) at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa. He will stay there from the beginning of March 2020 until December 2020. During this time, Christina Seeger takes over the position as coordinator of the PhD IDS programme.

Christina has been a research fellow at the IEE since 2015. She is an economist and finished her PhD in November 2019 at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the RUB. At the IEE, she has mainly been involved in the Urban Food Plus project, and the teaching activities of the Chair for Development Research at the Faculty of Management and Economics. Christina is looking forward to her new tasks within the PhD IDS, particularly working with the PhD students and supporting them along their way of becoming a doctor.
