Short Profile
Katja is a senior lecturer in Higher Education and head of the Quantitative Research Methods Unit at the RUB Institute of Educational Science. From 2002 to 2008, she worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Development Research and Development Policy at RUB and received her PhD (s.c.l.) from the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2008 as part of this position. Katjas current work is centred on methodology with a focus on quantitative empirical research and statistics, as well as evaluation research, especially in the area of education projects and the quality of digitized teaching. Katja is chair of the Evaluation Committee of the Faculty of Philosophy and Educational Research, member of the University Commission for Teaching at RUB and since October 2023 - deputy member of the RUB Senate.
