Short Profile
Marco is Vice President for Studies and Teaching at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer. After his successful career at HypoVereinsbank, he was responsible, among other things, as a project manager and consultant for international consulting projects in the field of financial sector development. He was also responsible for the Competence Center for Private Sector Promotion at KfW Bankengruppe. After his appointment as a professor of business administration at the Business School Berlin, he was appointed to the professorship for human resources and organizational management at the University of Emden/Leer in 2016. In this capacity he was voted “Teacher of the Year” in 2019. Marco is an alumnus of the “Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft” and of the Alliance for Teaching “LehreN”, an initiative for the development of university teaching funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
