IEE Director Markus Kaltenborn co-organizes an international conference hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

This November (10.-11.11.2016) the Gesellschaft für afrikanisches Recht (African Law Association), together with the Institute for Development Research and Development Policy (IEE), Ruhr-University Bochum, will organize a conference on "Law for Development: Building Social Protection Systems in Africa". Experts from both African and European research institutes will discuss the current challenges of Social Protection Law in African countries. The conference will be hosted by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in Berlin.
