IEE Postdoctoral Research Fellow Elkhan Richard Sadik-Zada co-convenes a special session at the 18th International Conference on Social Robotics which will take place from 1-4 July, 2026, in London. The session is co-organized together with colleagues from the UA-RUHR Research Center for Trustworthy Data Science and Security, the University of Toulouse, and the University of Helsinki.

The session title is Trustworthy Affective Social Robotics. The session conveners welcome contributions on the following topics:

• Generative Empathy & LLMs in Robotics
• Edge AI for Privacy-Preserving Affect
• Robotics for ASD and Dementia Care
• The Ethics of Artificial Empathy
