Short Profile
Veronika Bauer is a PhD student at the IEE, where she also serves as Deputy Coordinator of the MA in Development Management (MADM) programme. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Mannheim, an M.Sc. in Global Studies from Roskilde University, and an M.Sc. in Economic Policy Consulting from Ruhr University Bochum. Her academic background combines economics and global studies with a strong quantitative orientation, including experience in empirical economic research at Ruhr University Bochum and the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research. Veronika has gained professional experience in development cooperation, climate policy and finance through internships at the German Federal Foreign Office, KfW Development Bank and DanChurchAid, among others.
