Header IEE News 24

One year after the Ruhr-University Bochum celebrated its 50 anniversary, the IEE follows suit with the festivities for its own 50th anniversary. This is a reason to look back at the activities, collaborations, shifts, and developments of the IEE over last five decades. Beyond a look back into the history of the Institute, our current and recent activities provide a wide and interesting spectrum, the summer school of our Master in Development Management programme, a new intake in the PhD in International Development Studies, updates from an alumnus now working in crisis-ridden South Sudan, as well as numerous research activities including a workshop on corruption, a conference panel in Oxford, presentations at the PhD Conference in East Anglia, field research experiences in South Africa and Bangladesh, as well as a number of new publications from IEE members.
