This year’s winter edition of the IEE newsletter comprises some information regarding the Institute's response to the Corona Crisis. The edition entails several contributions on our different programmes including an update on the MADM, the South African-German Center for Development Research, and the PhD IDS.
This year the IEE is celebrating 20 years of the MADM Programme - as this can be done only virtually, we are looking back at nine cohorts of the MADM at RUB and our partner University UWC and present some memories of former students.
The IEE is as well proud to announce the successful application for implementing a European Joint Doctorate (EJD) on the topic "Eradicating Poverty: Pathways towards Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals" (ADAPTED), which will start at the beginning of 2021. Moreover, there are reports on individual experiences of Alumni and research activities of the IEE.
Many thanks for your continued interest in our activities! Enjoy the read! We wish all our readers Happy Holidays!
